New Use for RaptorRail: Bridge Construction

The RaptorRail System is known throughout the roofing industry as a perimeter railing system that attaches to the leading edge of a roof or a parapet wall. Now we have developed a series of clamps that make this system more universal, especially to general contractors in many applications.

bridge1AES Raptor has always manufactured a Contractor Base for this system. Today we are finding ways to attach this system horizontally, vertically and at angles that still give it the premier strength to meet OSHA specifications.

The world’s largest commercial roofing contractors have been using this system for over 2 years now. As you can see in these pictures, one of the leading highway, bridge and road contractors in the nation is using the RaptorRail and Contractor Base on a $400MM project in N. Kansas City, Missouri.

In addition, NASA and Alcoa Aluminum engineers have specified the use of this system on jobs that are currently going on in Texas and New York, and jobs that are in the completion stages in Ohio & Illinois.

bridge1This system has its own storage crate and is reusable, making it a very “green” approach to providing safety railing on construction sites. No wood! And it goes up 3 times faster than wood railing and there are no fasteners to deal with.

Please call us today and let us get you in touch with the people who are actually buying and using this product. You will be amazed at what you hear.

Product Updates

AES Raptor has made the following modifications to our equipment:

TriRex
The door on the TriRex™ job box has been converted from a drop-down door to a double door opening from the center. This new design allows for easier job box access and better ground clearance. A lock hasp has been incorporated into the door design to accommodate a pad-lock for heightened security. This modification will be implemented on May 1st, 2009.

Raptor Rescue
Raptor RescueThe winch on the Raptor Rescue System™ has been changed to a North Safety Retrieval Safety Winch. The new winching system has a 110 ft. cable, offering increased availability to lower a fallen worker. This modification has already been made and is available immediately. The Miller retrieval winch is no longer available through AES.

Skynet
AES Raptor is offering a 6' X 6' SKYNET™ that is collapsible to 3' X 6' for transporting purposes only. Designed with service and maintenance departments in mind, the new collapsible SKYNET can be stored more easily, takes up less room during storage, and is easily set up by one person. AES has finished its complete testing study of the collapsible frame and the units will be available for purchase on May 1st, 2009. At that time new pricing will be available.

Welcome to our New Website

We are very excited to show you the new features of the well-known Raptor R1000™ and to introduce you to the newest product to our fine line of Mobile Fall Protection Systems - the TriRex™. This impressive piece of equipment will debut at the International Roofing Expo in Las Vegas next week at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

TriRexThe TriRex is the largest job box of any fall cart in the industry. With its front entry door, locking front axel handle, and optional shelving, it is the only system that will accommodate up to 5 workers - 3 for fall arrest and 2 for fall restraint. The TriRex also has other optional features available.

The Raptor Rescue™ and the Raptor Alert™ Systems are optional for both the Raptor R1000 and the TriRex. Raptor Alert has a 130 decibel siren and amber strobe light that will engage if there is a fallen worker. The Raptor Rescue System will allow a fallen worker to be retrieved after the fall, or lowered to the ground.

AES Raptor has dedicated a lot of time and resources not only to our graphics, literature and the launching of this website, but also to our commitment to our distributor network. We are also committed to the safety industry, and the fine people and companies that support better safety methods and results.
